It's A Wrap!

Principal photography for The Meaning of “Choice” wrapped Saturday evening, bringing to a conclusion a total of five grueling days of shooting.

God’s hand was evident throughout production, from forcing us to change our planned schedule (avoiding serious unexpected problems later) to bringing in a cloud to diffuse the sun for a single shot, (thus preserving continuity in one of our outdoor scenes) His blessing has enabled us to finish principal photography with a high level of confidence that we have what we need to finish the film!

I also need to thank the parents of our younger cast and crew members for enabling them to help on set, as well as all of the people who pitched in somewhere to make this production a reality.

Everyone worked hard, and although most of them had little experience in this type of production, they did a great job! It was a pleasure to work with each one of them!

Of course, I have to mention that my Mom has done an unbelievable job of set design and catering, and the rest of the family has been a tremendous help as well.

We now move into postproduction! Watch for trailers and sneak peeks here on the website!

It was a blast, David! You're an awesome director. I can't wait to see what God's going to do with this movie.

Wow that was fast. Looks good from the pics. I apologize for not making it to the casting... I ended up having some family issues with my grandpa. (part of my family was trying to euthanize him...unfortunately, they eventually succeeded despite our efforts. I guess it happens alot more than people think)

Wouldn't be a bad idea to make a film sometime about the other end of life issues. I'll keep checking back to see the trailer.

Peace,

Jen Nelson

it was super fun to play Angela in this movie. Many thanks to Annick, Allison, Amber, Nancy, Mike, and especially, David and the whole Thompson family. P.S. My love goes out to Zyrek for his patience with...yeah...with me.

Scottie, you were a great boyfriend...for a while...until the phone call (and the watermelon knife..ahhhhhh!):)

Collin (Rob), excellent job saving me. and thanks for the help in the attack scene when you played angela :)

See you all soon for the exciting event of the screening. I can't wait!

David, I noticed you don't have any pictures of Joe up there ... you afraid I'll scare off all your readers? :-P

Thanks, Clare. It was fun working with everyone there. Despite the crazy hours, it was one of the best weeks in my life! I'll just have to ditto what you said and thank everybody. :-)

Sadly, I doubt I'll be able to make the screening.

It was a very intense few days, but it will be worth it all!

Annick and I had so much fun, from being in makeup and special effects(ahem), to getting some audio training(thanks, Zyrek), to even beig part of the cast!

All the actors were excellent, and we enjoyed making new friends.

Thanks so much for involving us, David, we had a great time :)

Looking forward to the screening!

Allison

Yeah, I had so much fun, I was kind of surprised actually.

Thanks to all of you crew and cast, you were great to work with!

And also to the Thompsons, and especially to Mrs. Thompson for the nice clean kitchen.

And of course Clare... you were absolutely great, except for all the crazy names you called me.

And most importantly, David, I know we all gave you a hard time, but you did an excellent job!

So ... how's post-production coming? Are you going to add anything to the production blog about anecdotes from the editing room, or screening dates, or release dates, or updates on being accepted or rejected from various film festivals ... ?

Or are we just all going to continue sitting here in the dark, wondering whether you and TMOC dropped off the face of the earth?
